 Bourbon and Iwatuka Confectionery to jointly deliver products using 25-meter "double articulated trucks" for greater efficiency (Niigata)



 A new delivery service using double-linked trucks to transport goods from two companies began on the 17th, with a departure ceremony held at the logistics center in Nagaoka City.


 In order to improve logistics efficiency and address driver shortages, Asahi Logistics in Murakami City has introduced 25-meter "double-linked trucks" to transport Bourbon and Iwatuka Confectionery products to a warehouse in Saitama Prefecture.


 I thought this would also help reduce carbon dioxide emissions and contribute to combating global warming.

    I want to see a 25m long truck in person. I think it's great because you can carry a lot of things at once, but I hope there won't be any accidents.

On May 8, the Labor Administration Research Institute released the results of a survey on the level of summer bonus payments by companies listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The average of 114 companies in all industries was 862,928 yen, the highest since the survey began in 1970. 　By industry, "Non-manufacturing" and "Manufacturing" averaged 715,328 yen and 902,288 yen, respectively, with "Automobile" at the top at 1,040,621 yen.
